The Dutch entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 has just been officially presented.
Yesterday it became clear that the title is De Diepte and today the premiere followed via NPO Radio 2 and the internet with the presentation in the Royal Theater Tuschinski in Amsterdam. The singer describes the song as “a love letter to your own grief”. The song can now be heard on all major streaming platforms.
De Diepte was written by Stien Den Hollander herself in collaboration with Arno Krabman. “It is an ode to the sadness and memories that you carry with you. Everyone experiences events in their life that are difficult. That’s something we share together as humans and I hope you feel less alone listening to the song.”
