Ukraine has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as expected.
The juries were still tense, but the televoting result still brought a big victory for Kalush Orchestra. Sam Ryder took the United Kingdom to second place, the best ranking since 1997. Spain took the best ranking in years. Chanel finished third with her song SloMo. Sweden and Serbia completed the top 5. The last place was for Germany again.

Given the current situation in Ukraine, the organization of the Eurovision Song Contest will be a huge challenge for the EBU. There are some countries that offered to organize the song contest, if it’s not possible in Ukraine.
