The first semifinal is over. The ten countries that made it through to the grand final on Saturday have been announced. The lucky ones have been announced after a dazzling show from Rotterdam Ahoy.

- Norway
- Russia
- Sweden
- Ukraine
Unfortunately, the following countries did not qualify:
- Australia
- Croatia
- Ireland
- North Macedonia
- Romania
- Slovenia
This night all the countries from the 16 participants could vote, plus Netherlands, Germany and Italy.
Each voting country’s jury and televoters each gave 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10 and 12 points.
The detailed results in Semi-final 1 will be revealed after the Grand Final on Saturday 22 May 2021.
