Almost three hundred entries have been received by the selection committee of AvroTros for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen, chairman of the selection committee, announced this to RTL Boulevard on Saturday. The entries are really pouring in,” Van de Nieuwenhuijzen said. “We are approaching three hundred entries at the moment, and that’s very exciting.” The registration for the next edition of the song contest officially opened on July 12 and will run until this Saturday. A final decision on the artist must be made by mid-December. Among others, Tim Douwsma and Numidia have submitted a song.
