Belgium is sending singer Mustii to Malmö

Belgium is the first country to have confirmed its artist for Malmö 2024. The RTBF broadcaster has announced that Mustii will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden.

With two successful albums to his name, the flamboyant performer is no stranger to the Belgian audience. Thomas Mustin, better known as Mustii, is an author, composer, singer, and actor, known for his roles in theater, television, and Netflix productions, including the popular Belgian series “La Trêve” and feature films like “Grave,” “Un Petit Boulot,” and “L’Echange des Princesses.”

In 2017, he took on a leading role alongside Mathilde Seigner in the French TV film “Je Voulais Juste Rentrer Chez Moi,” in which he portrayed the infamous Patrick Dils before playing Hamlet in 2019 under the direction of Emmanuel Dekoninck. In addition to acting, Mustii has made a name for himself as a singer. With two albums to his name, “21st Century Boy” and “It’s Happening Now,” successful tours (three times sold out at the Ancienne Belgique), and winning the “Discovery of the Year” award at the D6bels Music Awards, Mustii is known for captivating the audience with his captivating voice, which is powerful and fragile at the same time.

Next year will be his busiest yet, as he will not only represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden but also return as a permanent judge on Drag Race Belgique (season 2) and take on the lead role in Michiel Blanchart’s upcoming film “La nuit se traîne” alongside Romain Duris.
