The 42 year old Gustaph will represent Belgium in Liverpool with the song Because of You. The singer from Antwerp was the surprising winner tonight and stayed ahead of the televote winner, the duo The Starlings, by 1 point. gala dragot won the jury result, but due to the mix of votes Gustaph took the win.
In 2021 and 2018, Gustaph was already on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest as a background singer with the Belgian entry.
