The 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Turin next year, various Italian media write, including the newspaper La Repubblica. It is not yet known on which dates the international music event will take place in May.
This summer, the Italian broadcaster RAI announced that seventeen cities had shown interest in bringing in the Eurovision Song Contest. At the end of July it became clear that it would go between Bologna, Pesaro, Milan, Rimini and Turin.
The Italian group Maneskin won the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Rotterdam with their song Zitti e Buoni. It was the third time that Italy won the Eurovision Song Contest.

Previous Italian editions were in Naples (1965) and Rome (1991). The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the umbrella organization that organizes the Eurovision Song Contest, has not yet confirmed the news.
