Cypriot broadcaster has just revealed their artist to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel: Theo Evan

Theo Evan was internally selected by the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC to represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Basel next May. The song Theo Evan will perform on the Eurovision stage will be released at a later date.

Evangelos Theodorou (Ευάγγελος Θεοδώρου), known by his stage name Theo Evan, was born in Nicosia. He has been a singer and dancer since the age of seven and began songwriting in his teenage years.

In his early years, he attended dance classes, sang in school choirs, and performed in various theater productions and talent shows across Cyprus.

Theo Evan moved to the U.S. to pursue music and performance at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, after graduating from The English School in Nicosia.

Since releasing his debut song, “The Wall,” in 2021, Theo has built up an impressive collection of singles, drawing inspiration from a variety of artists, including reggaeton, Stromae, and Michael Jackson.

Keen-eyed fans may have spotted Theo as an extra on the popular HBO TV show Euphoria.
